Handwoven at the intersection of hope and grief. This tapestry encapsulates memories spent at Belle Isle and is rendered after a photo I took on a walk a few years ago. Lately, I've been thinking about how both cloth and the field are synonymous for holding space.
Handwoven tapestry using wool, cotton, and silk. Naturally dyed with indigo, logwood bark, oak tannin, and coreopsis foraged in Detroit, MI, along with iron and copper minerals.
