Thinking about emotional memory tied to place and how we remember things. I'm mainly approaching these ideas within fragments; almost like entering a conversation mid sentence.
Handwoven cotton textile, woven on a floor loom, naturally dyed bed sheet, silk, cast iron and bronze textile with mineral patina. Each piece is naturally dyed with hibiscus flowers, eucalyptus leaves, oak tannin, goldenrod, onion skins, and iron, sewn onto canvas and mounted on wood.
